STOCK DONATION: Did you know that you can donate long-term appreciated securities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds) to Good News TV and avoid capital gains tax? Don't sell the stock. Just transfer ownership, which results in avoiding capital gains tax you would otherwise owe, and it maximizes your donation! This means that the gift you report on your tax form will be the full value of the stock, and Good News Broadcasting Network also receives the full value of your donation.
